The role of a sales consultant is to consult and sell either a product or a service to new and existing business in order to achieve their company target.

A sales consultant is regularly required to update the CRM database and associated forms.

Good organisational skills and a general understanding of Microsoft and bespoke office software would be desired to undertake a role of a Sales Consultant.

Within this role you will be required to contact, appoint and attend leads passed to you from various sources including the telesales team.

In addition to this a sales consultant is required to generate leads through sales skills such as call sessions, canvassing, phone calls and social media etc to generate appointments, demonstrations and proposals in order to achieve your targets.

A sales person is required to manage existing users and a companies existing clients through regular phone or face to face contact offering support to clients as and when needed.
